Gillott drawing pens are used for copperplate writing by both professionals and beginners.

The Gillott 1068A Rigid nib is very stiff requiring more pressure. Less contrast between hairlines and swells. Can be used for Spencerian Script.

The Gillott 404 nib provides a fine hairline but is not as fragile as the 303 and 170 size nibs. Suitable for small to medium height Copperplate.

The Gillott 303 nib is probably the most commonly used nib for Copperplate. It is sharply pointed and flexible. Produces elegant hairlines. Suitable for small to medium height Copperplate.

Can be used with any pen holder that has a ‘universal’ ferrule. Also, all the Oblique holders with a metal flange.
